To Do Tuesday - The Last Challenging Work Week of 2019

One work day done, three work days left in this week. And all three are jam packed, including a working dinner on Wednesday evening.  Hopefully life will slow down a bit next week.  No work days last week, but with family in town and prep for the holiday, sewing room time was minimal. Even so there are two check marks and progress on the last two items on last week's list.

Weekly To Do List for 11/26/2019
1. Medallion Butterfly Panel - Stitch Butterfly names in upper left corner of panel
2. Frolic - Get started on clue 1
3. Mosaic Mystery quilt - finish November's clue - progress
4. Winter quilt along - Finish clue 2 and clue 3 - progress

This seems to be my "to do" list pattern, a couple of check marks and progress on the other items.  If I can keep that up, I'll be happy.   So what goes on this list's week?

Weekly To Do List for 12/2/2019

1. Twinkle Stars - Add last two borders.

2. Frolic - Start clue 2, make progress on clue 1

3. Mosaic Mystery - Finish November's clue

4. Winter Quilt Along - Finish Clues 2, 3 and 4.

That's a pretty aggressive list. I'm hoping there's one day of nothing but sewing this weekend.  If I can make progress on each one even with no check marks, I'll be happy.

  1. I think the skinny rainbow border is absolutely perfect!

  2. Great idea with the skinny border. I’ve started putting more skinny borders on my quilts when I don’t know what else to do. That little pop of color is very effective. Nice that work will be slowing down after this. You can breathe a sigh of relief ...until next year.

  3. Hi Kate! I think two check marks plus progress is fabulous. This month I go pretty easy on myself. Besides the usual holiday rush and fun, my niece is also graduating from nursing school. We've been helping her study and will attend the Pinning ceremony next week. Through in the little ones who we adore seeing, and sewing goes right out the window. That is an aggressive list you've given yourself! I'm cheering you on for Twinkle Stars - I just adore that piece. And Mosaic Mystery - love those fabrics. Thanks again for linking up this week. ~smile~ Roseanne

  4. With all of your busyness, I’m most impressed that you are getting any checkmarks at all. Good luck!

  8. If we just keep making forward progress it's all good! Now if I would stop adding projects to my to-do list I would make more progress! LOL

  9. I always think progress of any kind is good, especially when you have a full time job that gets in the way of your sewing time! I really like your plan for the Twinkle Stars borders, too.
