It was a pretty productive week for this year's Rainbow Scrap Challenge project, the Squared Away Sampler. All the teal blocks are now finished.

I really like how they turned out. With those done, I was able to make a good start on this month's red blocks and actually have one finished.

These are fun blocks, they go together pretty quickly. The last two red blocks are under construction over at the sewing machine. There's one more weekend in the month so I may actually get caught up this month!
Linking up with Soscrappy for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge today and with Oh Scrap on Sunday. Stay cool and stitch (my motto for July).
Very pretty blocks! Good luck getting caught up.
ReplyDeletePretty blocks. I hope your under less pressure this week and get your last two red blocks finished.
ReplyDeleteYour Squared Away blocks look great! Love the background fabric in the red one.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking blocks. I’m so happy to be caught up on this one. Doesn’t mean I’ll stay caught up, but for now, I’m feeling very smug.
ReplyDeleteThis has definitely been a hot summer. Your blocks look great!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good decision to stay inside and sew. That is my plan shortly..... I had thoughts to go weed.... but the feels like was over 100 and I headed back inside!
ReplyDeleteThose teal blocks are so pretty, an entire quilt of those colors would be lovely. We are getting rain and cloudy weather this weekend - perfect for staying inside and sewing.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck on getting caught up with your RSC blocks!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck catching up - though you're doing much better than I am, and I'm only making one block a month!
ReplyDeleteIt’s been so, so, so hot, I’ll take the 90s! We’re supposed to have storms next week. As Long as they come with rain, I’m ready.
ReplyDeleteThose teal ones turned out super, and I'm liking your bright reds so far!
ReplyDeleteLove your blocks! It has been nice to have some simple blocks so everyone can catch up. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
