How did you do on finding time to stitch this week? You can link up at the bottom of the post.
Since all my stitching time while we've been on vacation has been hand work, there's been no fabric out. Conversely, I've avoided adding any fabric this trip, so the stash numbers are unchanged from last week. But there has been visible progress on the Butterfly Medallion embroidery project.
I've been able to grab a few minutes of stitching while I'm waiting for everyone else to finish getting ready before we head out in the morning's and just a bit before bed at night. Those stolen minutes can really add up. Linking up with Slow Stitching Sunday. I'm hoping to get back to my sewing room this afternoon once I've taken the top off the mountain of laundry we came home with. It's nice to get home with a couple of days to spare before going back to work. I'll need them to rest up from vacation.

That's how you know you had a good vacation, when you need recovery time after you get home. Congrats on getting your 15 minutes every day despite being away from home. Your butterfly is looking beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to be on vacation! I hope Missouri isn't as hot as we are. Your butterfly is showing good progress. I would say have fun on your last day of vacation but you are probably going to be home doing laundry all day. ;)
ReplyDeleteOH how wonderful.. the butterfly is almost half done!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your stitching!
I'm not sure you can call it a vacation if you have to sign in on your work computer every morning! But I'm glad you had a good time otherwise and have a chance to "rest up" before heading back to work. Love the butterfly.

Beautiful project! I did on cross stitch project in my 20's and decided it wasn't for me but just that one gave me great appreciation for those that have the patience and talent for it!
ReplyDeleteExotic state of Missouri, lol
ReplyDeleteI’ve been cross-stitching most mornings too—only I’m lazy and don’t even leave my bedroom, just open the blind and stay under the covers.
Isn't it funny to need time to relax from a vacation! Love the butterfly stitchery.
