February's goal is to get the Midnight Mystery quilt to the finished flimsy stage. Tomorrow is the 15th, so it's a good thing I'm more than half way there.
Midnight Mystery Quilt From Meadow Mist Designs |
The red doesn't photograph very well, the quilt actually looks a bit more sedate in real life. I'm really happy with how this one is coming together. Just three more blocks to assemble then it will be time to sew the rows together.
That's it for me this week. You can find more project progress at:

This is a beautiful block for a mystery quilt!
ReplyDeleteI agree - reds are VERY hard to photograph (my barns gave me fits). Lovely mystery quilt project!
ReplyDeleteYour Mystery quilt came out beautifully. Right now I am stuck. Hopefully my friend will help me tonight, and I'll finish the top by the weekend.
ReplyDeleteYours is really a beauty, and very Valentine's Day. Glad I found you via MCM.
Great blocks! Are the flowers poppies or tulips? Either way... they are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blocks! I"m with you on the red, always hard to get it to look like it really does.
ReplyDeleteThat turned out to be a great pattern! I love the blocks and placement.
ReplyDeleteMidnight Mystery is coming along beautifully. I'm not being as successful with my OMG quilt. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteLooks complex. Your blocks are beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Preeti.
Kate your Midnight Mystery is coming along great! That's one of my goals for February too. In fact I need to get sewing today. Mine is kind of blah grey though and I am wishing I went with bright colors like you did.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I can't wait to see it quilted. I need to finally get mine sewn together!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking quilt top! Do you have an idea on how you are going to quilt it?
ReplyDeleteI like the staggered setting -- and the bright pop is so effective!
ReplyDeleteI love your version of the Midnight mystery quilt. (Mine is still in its project box...) I can't wait to see how you quilt it!
