Stash Report - March 4th

I'm a little late in posting today, the migraine that came on yesterday afternoon finally faded to a dull ache about lunch time today.  Being late may also be related to the fact I'm a bit sheepish about posting the stash report.  There was a 40% off sale at a relatively new quilt shop that's only about 25 minutes from my house.  I took full advantage of the sale to fill in some gaps in red and black colorways.  Before I get to the eye candy, lets just get the stash report out of the way.

Used last week: 0.3 yards
Added last week: 50 yards

Used for 2012:  4.75 yards
Added for 2012:  101.5 yards

Net stashed for 2012:  96.75 yards

I'm going to have to pick it up in getting some stitching done to get back to the black.  Not impossible, but getting more improbable.  Even so, I'm not sorry with what came home.

It may be hard to see, but across the top is 9 yards of a tone on tone white dot, very nice to have on hand for background fabric.  The pale blue and green are going to be worked into the setting for some old embroidery blocks.  The rest of the new additions are meant to add some red and black to the stash.  Colors I was sadly lacking yardage in.

I think my favorite is the gray and red paisley in the last shot.  Not sure what I'm going to do with the red, blacks and gray, but the Fat Quarter Stars blocks have been done in those colors and I really like how those are coming out.  Another red and black quilt is definitely on the bucket list.

That's it for my report this week.  I'm linking up with Judy over at Patchwork Times, so check out all the other stash reports there.
