Stash Report - September 18th

Another fast week.  I know that time does not change, but it sure seems like it speeds up when we get to this time of year.  Maybe it's because the daylight doesn't last as long.

I'm looking forward to just being home today, we've done a lot of running this week.  Consequently, not much sewing going on.   I did finish the binding for the Buck-A-Block quilt and that's all I was able to count as going out this week.

Used this week: 0.57 yards
Added this week:  0 yards

Used year to date:  47.05
Added year to date:  60.25 yard

Net stashed for 2011:  13.2 yards

Nothing in though, which is good.  Still, I'm going to have to get in the sewing room more if I want to get back to the black.  August and so far, September, have been pretty dismal in terms of fabric going out.

Happy Sewing this week.  Check out Patchwork Times for more adventures in stash busting.

  1. I always wonder how you figure the yardages leftover from what you used for a quilt vs what you didn't. I always end up with all these little bits!

  2. I added enough for both of us this week Kate. But then again I'd blown my fabric budget by May for the whole year so it was game over from that point.

In my own defence I only bought stuff I actually needed to finish quilts that are in progress....

  6. The time goes faster and faster. The older I get, the faster it goes!

  7. Nice Buck-A-Block project. Did your quilter get it done already for you...it seems that was quick. If not, suppose you are ready for the hand sewing to begin. Looking for progress on your purple and yellow leader and ender project. Sandi
