This week's 15 Minute Challenge will be short. I'm traveling this week for my day job. Kiddo and My Guy are holding down things at home (I hope anyway). Not too bad this week, managed at least 15 minutes on quilt projects 5 out of the last 7 days.
Monday - Finished cutting out Flurry blocks
Tuesday - Started sewing Flurry blocks
Wednesday - Flurry Blocks
Thursday - Flurry Blocks
Friday - Flurry Blocks
Saturday - No Sewing (swim meet)
Sunday - GFG Hexes
Monday - No sewing (travel)
How did you do last week on your sewing goals? Link up below and let us know.
You did great on your goals, especially considering your busy schedule.
ReplyDeleteI plan to put the back of the Flurry quilt together, find some batting and sandwich that quilt, and then practice some machine quilting before I quilt the Flurry. ☺
Happy Tuesday! Hope your traveling goes well.
Looks like you accomplished quite a bit. I'm sure the heat didn't help you at all. Hope the business trip goes well.
ReplyDeleteHope you took some of the GFG hexes along to get some sewing time in - safe travel!

You're doing great for such a busy lady!
ReplyDeleteConsidering how busy you are with summer kid activities and a job, I think you did great this week. Hope your travel is somewhere cool.
ReplyDeleteYou did great!! Cannot wait to see your Flurry Blocks...I want some too!!! Grrr...:-)
ReplyDeleteYou constantly amaze me Kate. Working Mom, travel, extra curricular activities and you still manage to get a load of stuff done each week. We should all be so motivated!
ReplyDeleteHope you come home to a house in one piece.
This week has been fairly productive. I am a slow worker but I made a flannel quilted change mat from scratch, and quilted several of the blocks of my "Country Houses" quilt; as well as taking a "getting to know your machine" class and practising some free motion quilting.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a pretty productive week. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your completed Flurry quilt!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on getting so much done!!!
I got quite a bit done this week, though I am still feeling very behind! Getting ready to add many more hours over the rest of this (norm, Mon-Sun) week!
I love the Flurry quilt. I can't wait to see it all done.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say 'thank you so much' for the Moda Flurry charm pack by Kate Spain! I LOVE it and so appreciate the chance to win!! It looks like it will be fun to work with!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your goals. Mine have pretty much gone out the window the last two weeks because of quilt jobs and family stuff. Not complaining, just not making as much progess on personal stuff as I'd like to!
