Weekends are always too short. It's hard to get the "have to do" done so you have time for the "want to do". I did find some time to sew this weekend between housework and stuff I had to do for the day job. I eked out enough time to finish piecing the Castle quilt.
I ended up redoing the borders. I didn't have corner stones in the first version and it just didn't look right. So I did some unsewing and added the green squares. This quilt is for a friends daughter who is starting chemotherapy today. I'm hoping to get the back done tonight so it can off to Trudy for quilting.
