Summer is still in full effect. The weather man says we'll have 100 plus days till mid week and then it cools off to the low to mid 90s. Not a lot cooler, but I'll take any type of cool down at this point. Hopefully this week will be the last of the 100 plus temps.
The one advantage of the high temps is that you don't want to leave the house to do anything. It makes picking the sewing room really easy, which is perfect for getting in your stitching time.

That is so funny - I guess she thinks it's a big cat bed, and she looks so comfy there! She is so, so cute, I did not realize she had any white on her.
ReplyDeleteMy son moved in with his girlfriend a year ago or so, and her cats claimed his recliner right away. It's been pretty funny! Daily time in the sewing room is such a pleasure, isn't it? Definitely just keep plugging along on each project, and there will be finishes!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like the argument I have with my dog over my pillow (yes, on the bed!) She's started sleeping on a chair or under the bed because of the heat!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet photo of Queenie. It looks like she has laid her claim to the recliner. LOL. Hopefully , it will cool down soon, Kate. It is supposed to be hot here all week, but we got an unexpected shower today which was nice. Have a blessed day. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteYour stitching numbers are great, of course you make progress, even if it's not at the pace you would like. Sweet Queenie ;))
ReplyDeleteI brought a kitten with me this week and he likes my computer chair.
