Stitching Stuff: Week 10 of 2026

We've had glimpses of spring this week.  The higher temps have also come with higher chances of severe weather.  It just that time of year here.  But we really need the rain. We had extreme fire danger last month due to the dry conditions.  Fortunately, the recent storms haven't impacted my stitching time over the last week.

  • 15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
  • 15 minute days/Mar = 7/7 days
  • 15 minute days/2026 = 66/66 days
  • Success rate = 100%

I've had a few afternoons when allergies just about got the better of me, but otherwise it hasn't been too hard to get in my stitching time each day.  We have some family stuff coming up later this month and in April, so it may be challenging to keep the 100%.  We'll see how it goes.

How did you do with your stitching goals this week.

  1. Those peeks of spring are nice aren't they. We went south toward Dallas a couple weeks ago where all the Bradford pear trees were starting to bloom, and the ones on our block started last week - a welcome sight. Glad you have some family things coming up.
I made a BOM last week but I don't have a post to link up. We have been swapping my sewing room with the guest bedroom, and it is all moved, but it is a mess!

  3. Glad you've been able to keep up the 100% all week! That helps move things along. I've been focused on my SAHRR this week - one more final outer border and it will be time to get a backing figured out. Hopefully that will happen this week. Hope you're having a wonderful Sunday, Kate!

  4. You are doing a great job sticking to your 15 minutes (or more) a day. We've had decent weather here too. In fact one day this week may hit 80º -- not our typical spring. But on the other hand, two days later the low will be 32º. Fun times!

  5. You are doing great with your sewing time. I had an allergy day this week too. The hints of sunshine make me happy, but we have had some storms too. I'm so glad Zoey is better at handling storms.
