It was wet, rainy and cold on Sunday. So I responded accordingly and spent pretty much the whole day in my sewing room. I managed to move a few projects along. The center of the 2021 Bonnie Hunter Mystery, Rhododenron, is assembled and up on the design wall.
I'm happy with how it's come together so far. I've also been working on the flying geese for the pieced border this week and almost have enough to start that border. But before I get to that, I need to trim up the center and add a narrow white border to float the blocks. I'll have some time to work on this before the holiday, but I likely won't get all of that done. I had hoped for this to be a finished quilt top before this year's Bonnie Hunter mystery came out. That won't happen, but hopefully I'll be able to finish this up early next year and get if off my UFO list.
I also managed to finish up clue 4 for the Malted Mystery (Meadow Mist Designs).
I'm liking my fabric choices so far. Clue 5 is in the works. Fingers crossed I have it finished by the time clue 6 comes out in December.
Linking up with Monday Design Wall and Patchwork & Quilts this week.

Rhododendron is looking great! Love the purple and yellow together. Your colors for the Malted Mystery blocks are pretty, too, That geometric turquoise print is a neat one!
