Hard to believe it's already September. We won't see cooler weather, for us that doesn't really happen until October in our part of the country. We are hoping that the 100 plus days are mostly gone, though the forecast for next week shows highs just short of 100 F several days next week. That will mean the sewing room will win out over the yard work that needs to happen before winter sets in. I'm good with that. This week was another good week on the stitching front.

I need to quilt my 16 patch quilt to get it out of my machine - and my brain! That’s my hope for today and tomorrow.
ReplyDeletesame here -fall is no where in sight other some leafs turning yellow from lack of rain - it is hot and dry here and we need cooler weather and rain. The houseplants will stay on the porch until near the end of October before they come inside when the nights start to cool off.
ReplyDeleteQuilting is the perfect activity for those hot days. Your numbers are looking great! Enjoy the holiday weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat week Kate! We have warm weather here now too and it will stay for a few days - I am looking forward to the end of the week when the highs will be in the 70s!
ReplyDeleteFinally got my act into gear. Don't think I am looking forward to summer this year they promising us a hot one. As we have had winter days in mid 20's C I think they are right.
