Here's the card we pulled two weeks ago.
As usual we all went with different subject matter.
My subject matter came from the sewing room. (Big surprise right?)
The eyes of my sewing needles in the pin cushion wouldn't be an obvious subject unless you spend a lot of time stitching.
My Guy's photo is the product of his never ending search for birds to photograph when he's out for one of his walks.
In this case the trees really do have eyes!
Grad Girl probably has the most "expected" photo, but I like it.
Queenie is Grad Girl's roommate. We quit calling her Grad Girl's cat, because she really acts more like a roommate than a pet. No one was harmed in the taking of this photo, but Queenie was not amused at being woken up from her afternoon nap.
The last photo card was easy. This week's card is one that is open to a lot of interpretation.
I'm curious to see what gets photographed this week.
All fun photos, Kate! There are definitely many different ways to interpret eyes. I do love the eyes on the tree, though - someone was really creative!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to catch another episode of your Photography Challenge, Kate. I've been missing it for quite some time. The three of you are very creative with the prompts!
ReplyDeleteThe "eyes" photo of your needle is great. I think most people would get that. Queenie is a little scary in that photo! :-)
ReplyDeleteI had to chuckle at the annoyed look that Queenie was giving. I saw that look so often with our cat. There was a big old tree on the corner of our block that had a face - created with some ceramic bits and pieces attached. It was subtle and such a surprise when we first noticed it. Your husband’s photo reminded me of that tree.
ReplyDeleteGreat Interpretations!!!
ReplyDeleteI would have gone in for eye of a needle too. It must be a surprise for a neighbor to always have their tree watching them.
