We had temperatures in the 80's for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, it certainly didn't feel like a typical Xmas holiday. Hope your holiday was full of family and fun. Ours certainly was.
It's week 52 of 2021, so this will be the last stitching stuff post for the year. I like to close out my stitching year on December 31st, so I'll have the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 in next week's post. My stitching week didn't go so well. I spent all of last weekend working on company reports, went to bed feeling really crappy last Sunday. Woke up to a fever and with a number of Covid symptoms on Monday morning. Thankfully it wasn't Covid, but I was pretty sick till Thursday. All I did was sleep (and blow my nose) for most of last week. Thankfully I was feeling almost normal by the time Christmas Eve rolled around. But that didn't help the stitching report much.

ReplyDeleteHope this final week of the year is relaxing and rewarding with rejuvenating time stitching. The handwork of both of you and SIT is so lovely! Well done.
ReplyDeleteThe butterfly is so pretty. How awful to be sick at this time, although there is no good time to be sick. There is an awful cold going around, and I hope you recover quickly. Our weather was weird here too, first it was really cold and then it was in the 50-60s for Christmas and today. I was able to rake up the leaves at least.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better and have time for a break over the festive season.
ReplyDelete80 degrees!! thats almost spring!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you are feeling better .. so sorry!
Much warmer than normal here too - with lots of grey skies and rain over the last few weeks. I am hoping for some snow soon! Glad you are feeling better and hope you’ve had lots of good stitching time this week. Love the towels SIT made, she has done such a lovely job with her embroidery.
