We are already passed the middle of October. Where do the days go? Last week's post didn't happen due to a last minute decision to visit my mother. My apologies for that, it was just hard to find the time to get a post written. Mom is an early riser and she wanted company for coffee. So please feel free to cover week 41 along with your week 42 stitching time.
I haven't been able to find much sewing room time the last couple of weeks. My report is pretty dismal.

Oh yes, some days are like that, anyway enjoy.
ReplyDeletethere are times nothing gets done because life gets in the way! the time is flying this year it really does seem to be going by fast and I'm not sure why - I am home just about all year with only one short break in June - so why is time flying?
ReplyDeleteYes, I know just how life gets in the way. My husband fell two weeks ago and ruptured the quadricep tendon in his right knee. Surgery is this coming Thursday and then caregiving will get even more difficult. So sewing and gardening have been the last things on my list.

Never apologize for putting family first! Having coffee with your mom sounds like an excellent way to spend a morning.
ReplyDeleteWishing you an easy week. It's so difficult some times. I'm still trying to get my MQG entry done in time for end of the month submission. Good luck!
ReplyDeletework/Life has really been getting in the way for you this year but hope you had a nice visit with your mum. Sorry about your allergies, we have noticed this year is particulary bad down here, as soon as Mo walks outside her eyes start feeling scratchy will probably have to look for some drops for her.
ReplyDeleteHi Kate, I hope that you get a little time to quilt, although I saw that you had a couple of posts up, so I'm going to read them and find out! I just hate it when life gets in the way of stitching - sometime they're great reasons, like visiting friends or family but other times, they are things that we would rather not be doing....oh well, such is life. At least the job pays for the fabric :-) Take care.
