But how to make that interesting? We all took different approaches as usual.
My focus wasn't my clothes, so I may be a bit off script with my image. The bed clothes at a recent cottage rental seemed much more interesting than any of my items. My Guy picked this picture because the really liked the textures and lighting.
My Guy's photo was probably the most true to the challenge for this week.

The SIT is still figuring out storage in her new apartment and supplied this image showcasing both her style and her organization skills.
We've all been having fun with this challenge. Maybe our photos aren't always exactly what the challenge specified, but we are all practicing photography more (even My Guy and he was practicing plenty before the challenge). It's also been a fun way to stay connected with the SIT who is off at college.
We all went "hmmm" after My Guy drew the card for this week's challenge.
I may be consulting a dictionary for my inspiration this week.
Yours is my favorite this week. I almost disqualified it until you said bed clothes, okay your bed is wearing clothes, I will allow it. The shirt made me smile.

Those do look like interesting bed clothes! Hope you enjoyed your getaway. I like your guy's sense of humor, too. Glad you all continue to enjoy the weekly challenge!
ReplyDeleteAnother week with interesting variations on your photo subjects. Bed clothes - I wouldn't have thought of that but love the textures in the picture.
ReplyDeleteAll good choices of relevant subject matter this week, Kate. Possibly stretching the prompt, but I think that's perfectly OK!
ReplyDeleteI think they are all great - and the way you each approach the challenge shows your creativity!! nicely done!
ReplyDeleteFun pictures and sounds like next week (which I am sure is in the past as I read this!) calls for a trip to the Apple orchard!
