To Do Tuesday for Week of 8/31/2021

Work deadlines had me heading into the office early and staying late yesterday.  After being on the work computer pretty much all day, writing a blog post just wasn't in the cards yesterday.  So I'm a day late on getting my To Do List together for this week. Before getting to that, here's how last week went.

To Do List for Week of 8/24/2021

  • Cabins and Fans: Finish row 7, work on row 8 ✔
  • Scrappy Butterflies: Finish framing butterfly blocks
  • Face mask: Make a few masks
  • Unity: Make HSTs for step 6

Four checks for 4 items.  It was a productive week.  This week will be a bit lean on stitching time. Not only has worked ramped up, we have plans with family this weekend.  So stitching time is likely to be really limited this week, consequently my to do list will be pretty light.

To Do List for Week of 8/31/2021

Cabins and Fans: Sew halves together, start borders

Cabins and Fans, self designed

All the rows are assembled, the two halves just need to be sewn together.  I'm thrilled with how this project has worked out.  The borders always take longer than I expect, but there is hope this will be a finished quilt top by the end of September.

Scrappy Butterflies: Continue making the alternate Irish Chain blocks.

I need 17 of these Irish chain blocks, 4 are finished.  They go together pretty fast once I have the strip sets made. No goal on a number to finish this week, the plan is to just do what I can.

Unity: Make HSTs for Step 6

Just 4 more blocks needed and the last pieced border for step 7 will be completed. I'm really looking forward to moving on to step 8.

That's my list for this week. Linking up with ChrisKnits for To Do Tuesday
