It's so hard to believe it's June already and that the year is just about half over. There has been some good progress on my UFOs, but just one finish so far. I'm hoping that all the work will pay off in lots of finishes the second half of the year. I've been playing along with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal for several years, it's the one goal I have met each month this year.
So I'm definitely going to set a goal for this month. I'm close to the second quilt finish for 2021.
I've started stitching down the binding on Grassy Creek. I'm close to turning the first corner. So this is definitely a doable goal. Maybe I should be more ambitious, but work has been crazy busy, so I'm going to go easy on the expectations for sewing room progress.
Linking up with the June One Monthly Goal. Good luck with your stitching plans for the month.
I'm procrastinating the binding process of the queen size quilt I just picked up from the quilter. It is so heavy, and so far around. And I'm so slow at binding. It's supposed to be near 100 all weekend, so maybe I'll get the binding made and attached at least.
ReplyDeleteYou got this!!!! Its such a pretty quilt you won't want to put it down!!
ReplyDeleteGreat goal! Your Grassy Creek is so lovely. It will be so nice to have it completed and usable! Doable goals are so much more empowering. Enjoy the stitching!!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous job on meeting your goals with the OMG challenge and so looking forward to seeing you complete Grassy Creek. You have got this. Happy quilting.
ReplyDeleteSetting realistic goals and exceeding them is a great plan. I hope you have a good month and that things calm down at work!
ReplyDeleteGreat colors and I really like the quilting design you chose.
ReplyDeleteHi Kate, a reachable goal is better than one you can't attain :-) Good luck!
