Week 25 of 2020: Stitching Stuff

It was a long work week, very stressful. It's been hard to maintain a positive attitude some days and I get home just completely worn out. That's not been the best conditions for maintaining the stitching mojo.  How are you doing in finding time to work in at least 15 minutes of stitching time each day?

This week was at least better than last week on the stitching front.

15 minute days/ week = 5/7 days
15 minute days/June = 13/20 days
15 minute days/2020 = 149/172
Success rate = 86.63%

I definitely need to do better next week if I want to meet this year's stitching time goal of 85%.

The Black Eyed Susans continue to bloom. The wind was still enough yesterday to try to get some shots with my macro lens and I completely lucked into this shot.

That made my day.

How are things going in your sewing room.  Link up and share if you've been able to get in some stitching time each day.

  1. Black-Eyed Susan's brighten up the day don't they - after having time off it is making it harder to get back into the work routine?

  4. So sorry to hear about your stress at work, Kate. Sewing is supposed to help relieve that stress, but not if you are too worn out to do any! Your photo that captured the gee along with the flower is amazing!

  6. Sorry you are having a hard time with work and life in general--it is a hard time for all of us--even if we are retired and can stitch all day--just knowing that some terrible things are going on all around us--in the riots, crowds, virus counts being up so high --hang in there with me friend--somehow we will make it through it all and I am counting on the fact that we will be better for it all --in time!!!

  8. Sorry work sucks. It really does make you want to want to just crawl into a ball when you get home when work is like that. That is one amazing bee shot. Hope things improve this week for you.

  9. So sorry you are having a hard time. I really struggled to get sewing time last week and I know it was tied to just being so tired of everything, and being overwhelmed. I got some mojo back yesterday and I'm hoping I can keep momentum. I also took some extra days off around 4th of July and knowing a break is coming is helping. Hugs and sunshine to you!
