Week 10 of 2020: Stitching Stuff

Spring is slowly trying to drive out the winter weather.  It's been warmer this week. But you still don't want to leave the house without you winter coat in the mornings.  I'm feeling a lot better after having the flu the week before, but still tired.  I seem to be spending my computer and stitching time sleeping in the recliner.  I've had to struggle to get in my stitching time most evenings.  Have you been able to find some stitching time this week?

Though it's been a struggle to stay awake long enough to get in a bit of stitching time, it's not been a bad week.

15 minute days/week = 6/7 days
15 minute days/March = 6/7 days
15 minute days/2020 = 59/67 days
Success rate = 88.06%

I did miss one night. The headache that came home with me wouldn't go away. So I just read for the evening before calling it an early night.  My goal is to keep my success rate over 85%, so I'm doing OK on that front.

How are you doing at finding 15 minutes of stitching time a day?

  1. Look, we're exact opposites! You had 6/7 and I had 1/7! LOL! Oh well. Here's to a new week, right?! :)

  2. I don't keep track of my time for anything but hand quilting in the evening but I know I get that in every evening for 1-2 hours - here is to a new week for you and hope you feel stronger - the flu can really take a lot out of you and takes awhile to get your energy back.

  3. You are probably still recovering from the flu and need that sleep more than stitching. I think you did great considering that.

  4. Rest is really the most important thing when you are sick and the week after to recover fully. You are still doing great! I slept most of 2 weeks when I was sick too. Hope you are feeling better. It was a tough week for me, but partly because work was just totally draining and overwhelming last week. Good job squeezing some stitching time in.

  6. Just posted my February results and the start of March was about the same..late nights of friends, activities, and work make it hard to get in the time right now, but hoping that will get better over the next few weeks and glad for the time I've found on the weekends.

  7. Thankfully, I've missed the flu so far this season. It's a good thing as I had to nurse my three grand kids through their bouts of flu. Then keep them here while their mom had it. Took 8 weeks. But I fit in some time for sanity's sake. Glad you are getting better.

  8. Made it, without the usual over achieving, but I made it.
I'm considering adding a new 15 minute challenge to my day. 15 mins of knitting in the evenings. I have two half done projects. One for me and one for a grandy.

  9. I always get a headache when I am sick, I don't know if it is to do with fever or just the blocked sinuses but the headache goes hand and hand with being sick. Hope you are starting to feel better now. Our weather continues to be mild we have a little bit of rain the end of summer has come and gone with a bit of a whimper but I'm not complaining I've enjoyed the cooler weather.

  10. You're doing great abut we do have to listen to our bodies. When you need to rest or just veg, it's because your body is tired! I don't always stitch every day but you can be sure that I read, think, plan or blog quilty things - and to me that's all the same thing (unless of course I never stitched :-) ) Have a great week.
