I'd been diagnosed with the flu when I laid out last week's list, so I kept it pretty short and simple.
Weekly To Do List (02/25/2020)
1. Butterfly Medallion Embroidery - get in a few stitches ✔
2. Twinkle Stars - Pick out the fabrics for the binding ✔
I was able to check off both items on last week's list. It's not much, but sometimes the to do list has to match the circumstances. I'm happy to have gotten any progress out of last week.
So what's the plan for this week? No business trips this week, so I'll have the evenings to do a bit of stitching.
Weekly To Do List (03/03/202
1. Twinkle Stars - Cut and assemble binding strips, finish quilt label
The Scientist in Training needs to give me a message for her friend before I can print the label on fabric.
2. Mosaic Mystery - Add the next three borders
3. Frolic - Finish four dark blue blocks

So that's the list for this week. That should be pretty doable. The last "to do" item for this post is to decide on the March One Monthly Goal.
My goal for March is to finish Twinkle Stars.

All it needs now is the binding and the label. That should be doable this month.

I bet you can get done with the binding. It is hard to do anything when you feel sick most times if I'm not feeling well, bad allergies or whatever I grab a book or the crochet and leave the actual sewing or when I feel better
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Kate! I'm so glad to hear you are feeling better this week, and I'm even more happy to hear your doctor advised no traveling for the week. Your Twinkle Stars is going to be just fabulous when it is all finished. Frolic is coming along - I love that peek of green thrown in amongst the blue, black and pink. Good luck with this week's to-do list. Thanks for linking up today. ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteLove the twinkle stars!
ReplyDeleteI agree - the list has to match the circumstances! Glad you're feeling better, and no business trip this week is a definite plus. Looking forward to seeing the pretty binding on Twinkle Stars!
ReplyDeleteLove the label! You will be able to get those goals knocked out!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with Twinkle project and your health!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty big list. I hope you are feeling back to normal so you can get it done. I'm surprised your company is still scheduling trips. Hubby's company has said no to any travel and cancelled all big meetings. They are an international company though so a lot of their policies are based on that.
ReplyDeleteGosh Darn Kate, when one gets the flu the to-do list is tossed and replaced with rest and accepting others' kindness, their help, and their chicken soup :-D Wishing you lots of sewing mojo and good health.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got a doctor's excuse for the business trip, especially since you probably picked up the flu on the last one. I bet you will be so happy to finish Twinkle Stars and get it delivered to it's new owner.
