Week 51 of 2019: Stitching Stuff

Wow, week 51!  Just one more week left in 2019 and a full week it will be with Christmas in the middle of it. I'm hoping it's a better week than this one has been. I've been out of commission since Wednesday with a very nasty cold. I finally started to feel better yesterday morning, which is good. That with the holiday prep, edged in on my stitching time.  How did you do this week at finding some time to stitch?

In spite of the cold and holiday preparations, I did manage to get in my 15 minutes every day this week.

15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
15 minute days/December = 21/21 days
15 minute days/2019 = 323/355
Success rate = 90.99%

We'll see if I can keep this up till the end of the year. Next week will be tricky as the plan is to spend time with the family.  However, not only have I been sick, so have several others in the immediate family. So at the moment holiday plans are in a bit of flux.

The last link up for 2019 will be next Sunday.  I prefer to end my tracking on the 31st, so the first report in 2020 will include my 2019 final numbers and how the first few days of the new year went.  You can follow suite or if you prefer to keep each week intact, you can lump the last few days of 2019 in with week 1 of 2020.

The Scientist in Training hasn't lost the joy of the holiday.  Santa has already been good to her, she did well in all of her classes.  Wishing you the joy and peace of the season.

How did you do at keeping up with the stitching amid all the holiday stuff.

  1. for me it is easy as it is just my husband and I at home and we are not busy social people and when you are retired you normally have tons of personal time to keep up with things even with the busy season of holidays - good luck to you and take a rest if you can! Merry Christmas

  3. Oh that’s a bummer...getting sick is never fun, but it’s especially bothersome this time of the year. On the bright side, your 90+% success rate this year gives you an “A.” Congratulations to the SIT. Have a Merry Christmas and feel better.

  4. You finally get time off and then you spend it being sick? No fair, at all. Hope you are doing better and can make the remaining holidays a little low key.

  5. I think I am going to keep to the actual calendar, I hate having a fuzzy cut off. LOL! Glad the class grades were good, that's always a stressor!

  6. Hope you are feeling better. I've just done my last (I hope trip to the shop) to get the final bits and pieces for Christmas lunch. I think it the day will be fairly low key, both hubby and Maestro are going out Christmas Eve for drinks so we will likely be dealing with hangovers.

  10. Sorry to hear you’ve been sick and hope you’ve recovered by now - it has been a good crafty week for me - at least one craft each day and two on most days! Love the year-end holidays!
