Gym time, Ash Wednesday and an award dinner took up a lot of my evenings this week. My Guy won an award for the work he does as the committee chair of a science program for 5 graders in the area and was also nominated for an award for one of his technical projects at work. Even with the extracurricular activities, it was still a good week on finding time to stitch.
15 minutes days/week = 7/7 days
15 minutes days/Mar = 9/9 days
15 minutes days/2019 = 65/68 days
Success rate = 95.59%
I'm actually doing better at finding time to stitch everyday then I did last year and last year was good. Projects are moving along, though there are no finishes yet. Probably because some days it really is only 15 minutes. You can link up at the bottom of the post to share how your stitching week went.
The stash report looks a bit anemic this week compared to what it has been.
Fabric out this week = 0.67 yards
Fabric out in 2019 = 16.20 yards
More out than in for 2019
Nothing in, so that helps with the stash reduction part of the equation. If I can end the year with more out then in, I'll have achieved my goals. Linking up with Quiltpaintcreate for the weekly stash report.
So how did your stitchy week go?

I faltered this week. Monday just wasn't a good day. I had no motivation and only played around in EQ, so no actual stitching took place. And the 2 hour nap I had to take didn't help. LOL. But I am at 99% for the year, so I am OK with it.
ReplyDeleteThe finishes will come. Then you can have fun starting new projects.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for making time!! And gym time?? the back must be healing ok? Congrats to your husband - 5th graders are so fun!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your husband! And to you for getting in any stitching time during a busy week. I still don't see how you have time to do any stitching before going to work in the morning. But then, I'm a night owl, not a morning bird.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your husband for his nomination and for you for supporting him and for successfully finding the time to stitch.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in 5th grade, a teacher rocked my world about math. So I truly appreciate those who light the fire of science and math with kids that age! Give your fella a big hug in appreciation :)
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great with your 15 minute goal. I have been missing a few days here and there.
ReplyDeleteI hope to get linked up soon.
I did lots of stitching just not on every night. You re really leading by example in the challenge.
