As suggested above, my week didn't go so well on the stitching front.
15 minutes stitching days/week = 3/7 days
15 minutes stitching days/December = 10/15 days
15 minutes stitching days/2018 = 324/349 days
Success rate = 92.84%
This week was just really busy. This was the annual "girl's shopping weekend" with my mom, sister, niece and Scientist in Training. I try to get all my family's gifts wrapped so they can make the trip with me to spare having to haul them with us when we come down for Christmas. Between trying to get ready and actually being here, there just wasn't a lot of time for stitching and the stash report shows that too.
Fabric used this week = 0 yards
Fabric used in 2018 = 41.88 yards
More in than out for 2018.
Even thought the stitching and stash reports took a hit, it's been a fun weekend. The SIT finished up finals and her last class report Friday, so she was able to join up late Friday afternoon. She got her chemistry grade last night.
She got an A, by the skin of her teeth. If you can't tell, she was very happy with that outcome. She's still waiting to hear about the grades in physics and calculus. She's sure she passed all her classes, but not sure if she did that well in those two.
I'm hoping to get in some stitching time this afternoon. You can link up below with how well you did this week. Hopefully, lots better than I did.

Good grief...those are some tough courses. She gets an A from me just for signing up. Her picture reminded me of one I have of Matthew when he finished finals right before graduation. So much fun watching them achieve their goals.
ReplyDeleteI think normally by this time I would have trouble fitting sewing in, but this year, I am not making any gifts and buying everything online, plus the gathering is not at my house, and I have more energy this year, so I was able to keep up with the stitching. I really appreciate all the motivation you provide with this link up.
ReplyDeleteI don't get much quilting time during the holidays. I have a bed-sized quilt in progress about 1/3 of the quilting done.
ReplyDeleteI just scored a vintage White sewing machine and need to find time to be able to play with that.
If all my family was coming here for Christmas, I wouldn't be able to find much sewing time either. But our mothers don't travel anymore and we aren't going to see our daughters until after Christmas. So I really have nothing to do this year. Plenty of sewing time, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteThose science classes are tough; we've done the same celebrating with our scientist. Woohoo for your SIT! What a great way to start off Christmas break! Enjoy your time together!
ReplyDeleteYEAH!! SIT just made my day!
ReplyDeleteMany kudos to the SIT! Those are tough courses :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good week, even if not much stitching time. Hope you enjoy having SIT home for the holidays!
