I'm still a bit messed up on my days after being off for most of last week, but I'm pretty sure today is Sunday. That means it's time to assess how much stitching and de-stashing happened last week.
I did manage to get in my 15 minutes yesterday in spite of the headache, so it was a good week on the stitching front.
15 minutes stitching days/week = 7/7days
15 minutes stitching days/July = 7/7 days
15 minutes stitching days/2018 = 178/188 days
Success Rate = 94.68%
It was an especially good week as I typically managed at least an hour each day in the sewing room. That is helping to move some projects along and means there has been a bit of the stash moving into finished blocks.
Fabric used this week: 0.92 yards
Fabric used in 2018: 25.89 yards
Fabric added in 2018: 18.91 yards
Net fabric out for 2018: 6.98 yards
Not a big reduction in the stash this year, but at least there is more going out then coming in. Linking up with Quiltpaintcreate for the weekly stash report.
It's been hot and humid around here the last week, but that hasn't stopped the bees from visiting our volunteer sunflowers.
I ventured out long enough to snap a few photos, then spent the rest of the day in the air conditioning. It really is too hot to be out for long.
Here's Mr. Linky if you want to share how well you did at making time to stitch.

Your numbers are looking great! Can't wait to see what you have been getting done.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you weren't well, but am glad that you were well enough to keep on stitching. The last few days have been cooler and it is such a relief from the oppressive heat. Hope you get relief soon too!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed with your success rate! I think I'll be happy with 80% for the year. I've done reasonably well during the summer but fall will get busy and I'm taking a class again, which will eat into my sewing time.
ReplyDeleteYour numbers are soooo much better than mine! I just got my outflow less than half of my intake! LOL For a while I was taking in 60% more than I was using up.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for your wonderful linky. 15 minutes a day always turns into much more. Getting started is the key.
ReplyDeleteHeadaches and humidity- not fun. Hope things are looking up soon!
ReplyDeleteUgh, humidity! Not my favorite thing - almost my least favorite thing! You got almost a whole yard out this week, and spent 7 days sewing time, so I'd call that a good week. =) For a wonder, I had sewing time most days last week, too!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great week (except for the humidity and the migraine). Glad you found some time for sewing.
