Rainbow Scrap Challenge: Playing Catch Up

It's the last Saturday in March and the first time all month that I've linked up with Rainbow Scrap Challenge over at Soscrappy.  I got in a lot of stitching time yesterday and had planned to have the second brown dress from last month ready to show off today.  Unfortunately, I made an error in the paper piecing and there's some significant un-sewing that has to be done to fix it.   

 Even though I wasn't ready to move on to this month's color, the purple fabrics for March's dresses did get selected.   I really had hoped to start on those today.

 The dark purple on the left looks black in the photo, but it really is purple.  I'm looking forward to starting on these later this weekend. Purple is one of my favorite colors to sew with.   I'll have to pull the fabrics for April's color as well.  Maybe I'll work on those first and work in the purple dresses as I can.

    Good luck on getting to the purples soon. Hopefully the paper piecing will get easier each month.

    Those dresses sure look finicky, but they are SO cute when you get them done. And what is it about purple that it either photographs blue or black? Drives me crazy.

    Nice fabric choice for the purple dresses, but what a lot of tiny pieces you have to cut!

    Beautiful fabric choices for your next two dresses. Foundation piecing is not fun to take apart, but your finished block will be worth it.

    I love those purples. (I'm a big fan of purple!) The dresses will be luscious.
    Good luck with the unpicking. It sounds like the closest thing to no fun at all...

    Whenever you get to them they will be darling. I had to do some reverse sewing this week too. Bummer!
