Cheryl left the definition of best up to us. It could be the posts with the most views or comments. If you want more of either for 2016, it's helpful to see what those posts had that others didn't. You could highlight 5 finishes, 5 tutorials, or 5 linky parties. I decided to highlight this year's finishes and works in progress.
Number 5. Grand Illusion Finish
Number 4. Poinsettia Leaders and Enders Project
Number 3: Back to Square One Finished Flimsy
Number 2: 2015 Rainbow Scrap Project: Twinkle Stars
Number 1: 2014 Rainbow Scrap Challenge Sampler Finish
I have one honorable mention that I'd like to include. The post includes one of this year's quilts, but also has some of my favorite quilts that I've finished since starting up the blog.
Honorable Mention: The Online Trunk Show
That's it for my "Best Of 2015". You can find more fun reviews of 2015 over at Meadow Mist Designs.
You certainly have made some beautiful quilts and lovely blocks, Kate. Thanks for sharing your favourites with us! Looking forward to seeing what you create in 2016!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts finished up this year. You did a great job with the Grand Illusion quilt, and back to Square One has to be one of my favorites. Somehow I missed the leaders and enders project. I don't do leaders and enders, but it's such a great concept and yours are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collection of quilts and memories to share for 2015!
ReplyDeleteLovely quilts! I love that star block! :)
ReplyDeleteI just got home from our CHristmas travel and can't wait to write my post tomorrow. Your grand Illusions continues to be an inspiration to me....
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list for 2015. The Back to Square One flimsy is beautiful and I love the colors you used.

ReplyDeleteVery Nice projects. Really like your Rainbow scrap challenges. I started them in 2014 - didn't finish. :)
ReplyDeleteI just love your scrappy projects! I am pretty sure I am going to have to do the rainbow scrap challenge this year too.
ReplyDeleteI liked all of your quilts, but number 3 is fabulous.. being partial to log cabin myself, it probably attracts my eye more than others, but I really did enjoy seeing each of your quilts.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed all your quilts, but especially got a kick out of you adding an honorable mention...wish I had thought of that as it was hard to just choose 5!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts, great list for 2015 :)
