I didn't spend the whole day sewing. The morning was spent doing some much needed sewing room maintenance. Plus I started the prep work for three of the four graduation quilts that have been requested for 2017. I'm slow enough that I need to start that now. The afternoon was spent at the sewing machine and I have four more Twinkle Stars to show for it.

And that finishes the six planned for October. So now I'm ready to banish the browns and move on to this month's color. I made all my green stars back in May, so I decided to use red-violet as my rainbow scrap challenge color for November. I've got a start on three of those, but no pictures as yet. But I have Monday off as well, so I should make a lot of progress on those.
Linking up with Soscrappy, then I'm grabbing my second cup of coffee and will spend some time trying to catch up with blog reading before tackling a few household chores.
Lovely blocks. I love the pops of color in the blocks.
ReplyDeleteMore beautiful Twinkle Stars! I can't decide which one is my favorite--either the blue and brown or the one with the plaid. Great job!
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely twinkle stars. They are going to be a spectacular quilt. Enjoy the 4 day weekend. You're off to a good start.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy those days off -- DH has to use his FTO as well or he loses it. Happy sewing!
ReplyDeleteYou and your twinkles definitely inspired me to make a twinkly quilt. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your stars each week, so I'm going to miss them.
Your Twinker stars are beautiful! Enjoy the rest of the long weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the tartan star, (bottom left) it's so fresh and homely after October's diet of dark chocolate. It reminds me of cinnamon buns! This is going to be a wonderful quilt!
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks. I love the one with the blue/turquoise points. I'm glad you got to spend some time sewing. Good luck with the long term quilts xx
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be a truly sparkly quilt. The red violet should be a great addition. Keep up the good work!
