Even a three day weekend wasn't enough to get everything done. But My Guy and I made a serious dent in the Christmas gift list, the tree is up and the lights are on it. Drama Teen and friends are going to add the ornaments sometime this week. Next weekend will be all about getting the Christmas cards addressed and hopefully mailed, plus getting stuff wrapped.
I did manage to sneak up to the sewing room a few times this week. Six step 2 blocks of Bonnie Hunter's Grand Illusion mystery ended up on the design wall as a result.
The design wall has a whole lot more of the step 1 blocks on it after having a full week to work on those.
That's it for me this week. I'm off to check out all the other Grand Illusion variations at Quitville, and then see what else is up on design walls over at Patchwork Times.
Your design wall is very interesting, gorgeous colors! It is so interesting to see how everyone is progressing.
ReplyDeleteGreat job so far. I am saving clues for now. No time but hope to get to it in the near future!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting design!
ReplyDeleteLove your fabrics! And sneaking in time seems to be the theme lately since the holidays are taking over. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI really like the pink, black and white combinations I'm seeing across the internet. Yours are wonderful. It is probably exceedingly hard to keep up with this quilt now but well worth it!
ReplyDeleteYour mystery is looking great!
ReplyDeleteYour Grand Illusion units are looking beautiful! I love your fabric choices.
