Rainbow Scrap Challenge - End of the Green

In spite of the fact that it was a short week, I was more than ready for Saturday to get here.  But it will be a short weekend for me.  I have a business trip next week and I have to leave tomorrow for Denver.  So laundry will be a priority this morning, but I'm hoping to get back to the sewing room for a bit this afternoon.

The 4 day Memorial Day weekend allowed me to get in some significant stitching time.  Six more of the green blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge Sampler were finished.

That leaves two more green blocks to finish up today.  Here's what the whole set looks like.

The green Inverted Star block also got finished last weekend.

I'm really happy with how these blocks are turning out.

I'm looking forward to playing with my yellow scraps.  I have lots of those.  To see more scrappy fun check out the other posts over at Soscrappy.

  1. That inverted star is a pretty one. putting the blocks together to photograph is looking great on everyone's design wall. And yours is no exception. Yellow will bring a lot of life to the rainbow. Looking forward to it.

  4. You have a nice collection of greens and they look good with the other blocks. This is really going to sparkle with all the yellows coming in June.

  8. Oooh - it's starting to look like you'll have two finishes on the horizon!

Good Luck with the business trip-being away from home always upsets my usual routine. Takes a few days to get back into it once I get home...

  10. You've had some fun playing with your blocks! They look great. Inverted Star lets you play with so many odd bits of fabric but is so dramatic when put together. Looking forward to seeing the yellow inverted star.
