With all the days off last week, finding 15 minutes to sew each day was not a problem, as this week's report shows.
I mainly worked on the Sofa Quilt which Judy over at Patchwork Times is hosting a quilt along for. I also managed to get the binding made and attached to the Purple and Yellow Scrap Quilt, I'm still in the process of sewing it to the back, but I'm on the last side. So it was a good week in the sewing room. The next few weeks it's going to be a challenge to do as well. We have a swim meet plus a family gathering this weekend and another swim meet the following weekend.
During the work week, I have to mentally set a time to get out of the recliner and off the computer (usually it's 7:30 to 8:00). If I don't set that mental timer, I can easily spend the whole evening in the recliner checking out blogs and reading email. Have you found a way to ensure you get your sewing/craft time in each day? Link up, share your time management tips and how well you applied them last week.

ReplyDeleteGreat week! Can't wait to see pictures of the sofa quilt!
ReplyDeleteGreat week. Still school holidays here so plenty of time to veg on the lounge and stitch, and even snuck out to sew before getting dinner the other day. Footy practice is back on though, but that means and hour in the car stitching so there are plusses.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on this RWB quilt and really spending
ReplyDeletetoo much time thinking about how to put it together.
Now I have the top but now am thinking of adding the
baby's name to the top of the quilt too..... Will decide
tomorrow!
