Hi. I'm still here, kinda, sorta anyway. Still computerless at the moment (That tale of woe is definitely not fit for a favorite things Friday post, so we'll save that rant for later).
This is the last Friday of Drama Teen's Spring Break. For most of the week, we were in Eureka Springs, Arkansas hanging out and getting wet. The hanging out part was very fun. DT and I did a lot of fun shopping, though not a lot of buying. My Guy and I hung out a lot too in the evenings as someone was smart enough to rent a condo with the master suite upstairs and the spare bed downstairs. DT had a whole floor to herself and was markedly scarce most of the time we were there. Only coming up to make popcorn and grab a bottle of juice while she was watching movies. The rain put a stop to a lot of our outdoor plans, but we found a few other things to do instead. It was a wonderfully relaxing week for all of us.
Spring Break is my favorite thing this week. Check out all the other favorite things over at Quilting in My Pyjamas.
Nice favorite .. I haven't had spring break in forever. I'm taking a vacation later this spring so maybe I'll just call it spring break. Very smart someone on the two level condo!
ReplyDeleteHurray for spring breaks, for relaxation, and time spent with Drama Persons.
ReplyDeletePrivate space for the teen ... priceless!
glad that you had a restful time and hope that your computer issues are resolved soon.

Two more weeks and we have our school term holidays, I am working my usual days so we won't be going anywhere. Glad you had a nice break even though the weather wasn't good sometimes just being away and doing nothing much is just as good my lot haven't worked that out yet lol.

ReplyDeleteSpring break sounds like it was at the very least relaxing and I think thats what you needed. Sounds like DT is turning into a typical teen...you wont see much of her now until at least 17 ...
ReplyDeleteBummer about the computer ...hopefully that will be up and working perfectly for you again soon.
