No new fabric this week. I'm back on my "no fabric" diet, for the time being anyway. Not much sewing this week, after being so good about sewing for 15 minutes every day the last couple of weeks, I completely blew that this week. A few unexpected events came up. I did manage to get a couple of blocks sewn together. Here are this week's numbers:
Used this week: 0.3 yards
Added this week: 0 yards
Used year to date: 5.11 yards
Added year to date: 1.5 yards
Net used for 2011: 3.61 yards
Fabric Budget: 10 yards for Jan to March
Bought/Budget: 1.5/10 yards
I'm still in the black, just not as much as I'd like to be. Check out Judy's blog over at Patchwork Times for the rest of this week's reports.
UGH...I haven't been able to sew very much this week either. I get in a little funk if I don't. Hubby even said, maybe you should sew a little...ok, I admitt, it was a big funk. I get that way from quilting withdrawl.
ReplyDeleteAt least you got a little bit done in the sewing room, sometimes thats all we can do.
ReplyDeleteSome sewing is good - you are still doing ok with the stash busting. Liz
ReplyDeleteA little sewing is better than no sewing at all.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new fabric diet. I'll have to start over again this week.
ReplyDeleteYep- I bombed this week. Bought 7.5yards for tote bags. If I counted how much I've used this week though ...hmnnnn...that's 5.5 yards. (Darn I should have made the back for my snowball quilt because that would have been another 5 yards!)
ReplyDeleteKate you're doing well. One fabric buying trip in 17 weeks is nothing to sneeze at!
You're doing fine/
ReplyDeleteAll in all it looks as if you are moving forward!
