So for tonight, I think I'm going to do more of my favorite thing this week. Sit here, drink my tea and just appreciate the quiet.
Check out Quilting in My Pyjama's for other, more exciting FTFs.
(I'm ready for some of this. How about you?)

Got to say those moments are golden.
ReplyDeleteGreat FTF! I'm thinking that's one of my favorites too .. I might have to copy you.
ReplyDeleteIt's always lovely to sit down and relax and have some quiet time.
ReplyDeleteCan't remember a time when I had the house all to myself. You lucky, lucky girl! :o) A Quiet Moment...definitely a most fabulous favourite. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy the peace. Happy FTF! :o)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the moment!! Those quiet times are so rare when you have a child at home.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favourite things too- having the house totally to myself. The quiet feels different when nobody is home doesnt it. More peaceful somehow?
ReplyDeleteI dont get those moments very often either and I dont have kids at home anymore !
When Little P and Miss P first left for their own house that was the thing I enjoyed most - absolute quiet!
Great FTF Kate!
Ah... a quiet house - enjoy and I hope the wildfires are avoiding your area...right now, it's all east of me. be safe!

I sew mainly after everyone's gone to bed so I can have some quiet time. And I think a lot when I'm driving; things seem to make more sense when you're hurtling down the highway.
ReplyDeleteAhhh the house to yourself....Bliss :-)
ReplyDeleteI love having a little peace and quiet. Great FTF. And that rose is just gorgeous!
