My favorite things this week reside on my desk at work. I have flowers to brighten my day:

I have a scrappy fabric heart hanging on the wall to inspire me:
And finally, I have Mr. Piggy to make me smile:
All gifts from kiddo. She's 11 now and would probably be embarrassed to know that I'm still displaying things she made in 2nd grade on my desk. I guess I won't tell her they will probably stay there even when she's in collage. What are your favorite things this week?
Love them all, especially the pig! :o) I have a red Octopus on display that Son#2 made for me. It's one of my favorites. :o) Happy FTF!
ReplyDeleteThose are the sweetest favorite things, and I can see why they're you're favorites. Your girl may be embarrassed when they're still on your desk when she's in college, but secretly she'll be pleased too. :-)
ReplyDeleteNothing warms a mother's heart more than handmade gifts from her children does it? thay would be taking pride of place for me too. And yes they'll still be there when she's 21!
ReplyDeleteCheers
Helen
What really cute handmade gifts, It's always nice to keep some of the things made by your children. I definitely agree that they would be a favourite thing, and I'm sure she is secretly pleased that you still have them.
ReplyDeleteI had to go to work today with a lovely bracelet made by my 7 year old, she checked as I walked out the door that it was still on and I still have it on now at the end of the day. She sent my hubby off the other day with a couple of pictures for his desk too.
