Quilt plans have been part of my yearly goal setting process since 2015. Having a plan doesn't seem to affect how many quilts I finish each year, there are too many outside influences that affect that. But thinking through which projects I want to focus on each year makes it easier to move on to the next UFO once one is finished. Rather than specifying the number of finishes, as I've never hit that goal in the 6 previous years, my goal is to make progress on 6 quilts this year. That includes new starts and finishing old UFOs.
