As I was typing the blog title, I had to ask is it really week 49? Yep, there are just 3 more Sundays in 2025. I'm definitely not going to meet all my goals for the year. Well, some years are just that way. I should probably run a debrief for myself and see what got me off course for the year. I'll do that closer to the new year. My stitching time this year has been hit or miss too, but I pretty much hit it this week.
- 15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
- 15 minute days/Nov = 26/30 days
- 15 minute days/Dec = 6/6 days
- 15 minute days/2025 = 296/340 days
- Success rate = 87.06%
It was a good week. Maybe it hasn't been the best year on the stitching front, but it's far from my worst (a 52.3% success rate). So as long as it's not the worst year, I'm good.
Have you been able to work in some stitching time along with your holiday prep?

I'm trying not to think about how many days are left in the year! So many things I want to get done. We will put up our tree today, so today is a bust, sewing-room-wise.
ReplyDeleteMy stitchy goals always outpace my time but they are something to reach for. I no longer stress about getting things completely finished and am concentrating on enjoying the stages. Happy Stitching to you Kate.
ReplyDeleteThis year definitely has gone by fast, but they all seem to, don't they? I don't really track my time in the sewing room anymore, but I was lucky to have an uneventful past week and got lots done. This coming week is busier with things out of the house, so I don't know what there will be time for. Hope you have a great week, Kate!
ReplyDeleteThe heck with a debriefing. Celebrate your progress and don't sweat what you didn't get done. And don't forget you devoted a lot of time to designing and managing the guild challenge quilt along. Plus helping your daughter move. It's all good.

Well for one thing you got sick for a week or two if I remember correctly. You traveled to visit your daughter a time or two. And, sometimes we all just lose our mojo. I think you've had a good year whether you stitched every day or not!
