It's been a pretty good week. The only wrinkle was a broken connector on the Outback that caused some scary lights to show up on the dashboard. Reading the manual, the potential issues were pretty scary and making a trip to Tulsa to the dealership didn't seem wise. Thankfully our normal in town mechanic recommended another shop that could handle electrical issues. They got the parts and we are back in business. We aren't used to sharing one car, but the advantage is I ended up spending a lot of time at open sew at the quilt shop because why go home after lunch, only to turn around in 4 hours to pick him up from work. That definitely helped on the stitching time front this week.

I'm so glad Grad Girl and Queenie are settling in. That is a sweet photo of Queenie. Enjoy your sewing time this week!
ReplyDeleteI’m glad they are settling in nicely. We would not do well sharing a vehicle. LOL
ReplyDeleteGlad you're getting more time for sewing lately, although I'm sorry the car issues contributed to some of it! I've been getting some things done around here, too - that's a good feeling. Fun photo of Queenie - that reddish tint to her beautiful black furs is surprising!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a scary car issue, glad you were able to get the part and get it fixed. Queenie does look a little like a Wookie - at least she has some good sun if she's doesn't have her mom home all day!
ReplyDeleteI'm really happy that I got the rugs done and still had time left to work on the hand sewing.
