It's been another one of those weeks where things haven't gone exactly to plan. I spent some much needed R&R time in my sewing room on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then I woke up Thursday morning with a text from my Mom saying she needed my help. She really hates to ask me for help, so when she does, I know it's most likely something significant. Thankfully, things lined out on Friday, so I was able to come home that night. I still did pretty well on the stitching front even with the unexpected road trip.

Great stitching week despite unforeseen circumstances. I hope your Mom is ok. Have a great sewing week!
ReplyDeleteHope all is well with your mom. I'm sure she really appreciates when you can come to help her out.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything is okay with your mom. That's definitely something that you can't push off in favor of sewing! I've been working on some small pieces these last few days - using up the scraps from other projects. That's always good!
ReplyDeleteYou did much better this week even with a side trip to help your mom. Nothing like our sewing time to lighten our moods. Hope this week is full of stitching time...or at least as much as you want!
ReplyDeleteLife always seems to throw a spanner in the works, doesn't it. I hope your mum is okay. Hopefully, you'll gets lots of sewing hours in this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your Mom is OK. I certainly identify with her in not wanting to ask for help. Hope you have a more "normal" week.
ReplyDeleteNot wanting to ask for help (or be a bother) sounds so much like my mother. I hope yours is doing okay, and that you can get back to your regular stitching time.
