Stitching Stuff: Week 20 of 2025

My sew mojo has been pretty absent this week. I've managed to get in my minimum of 15 minutes each day, but that's been it other than late night sew.

  • 15 minute days/week = 7/7 days
  • 15 minute days/May = 17/17 days
  • 15 minute days/2025 = 132/137 days
  • Success rate = 96.35%

Not a bad week, but not a stellar week either.  My weeks seem to be that way lately.  Maybe I'm in a rut?  Fingers crossed this next week is much, much better on the stitching front.

Since we were at my mother's last weekend and I decided this weekend to focus on sitting at the sewing machine, no scrap processing or fabric pressing happened.  Hopefully your week was much more productive than mine.

  1. Boy do I get it. My sewjo comes and goes. Right now I'm waiting for batting. I went to sandwich the wedding quilt and found only twin size battings, so I had to order a queen size. I know I could start another project or pick up an old one, but I feel paralyzed - lol!

  2. Your 15 minute challenge has motivated me quite often. Those little bits add up to progress.

  3. I tend to lose my sewing mojo more and more the past year - I don't know why that is. At least it is back for now.

  4. I think a little bit every day gets a lot done over time! Some weeks are better than others. I wanted to tell you that I made my ninth heart for the mmmquilts QAL and used a scant 1/4 inch seam allowance for the triangles and it made a huge difference in my point at the bottom. Thanks for that advice!

  5. I'm still in struggle with a colleague so it drains me of a lot of energy, but hooray, I managed to sew my 2-days goal. I hope that your sewing mojo will fully come back soon. Thank you for the motivation, hugs

  6. Kate I so understand the lack of sewjo after these past many months here in my world but having the motivation of your Stitching Time Challenge helps me get motivated. Thanks for hosting us all. 🤗 Carol
