My plan is to add one more row of hearts for a total of 12. Nine of those are finished and up on the design wall. I found a dark navy in the stash to use for the sashing. I'm hoping to at least get all 12 blocks finished this week and get the sashing cut. We have storms coming in this afternoon/evening, so not sure how much progress I'll make today.
Linking up with Monday Design Wall and Patchwork & Quilts.
Your Glowing Hearts project is beautiful. Not bad for a low mojo day!! Grey, chilly and rainy here most of the week - hoping it's good sewing week for me.
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on the hearts - they are beautiful! The navy sashing sounds perfect. I'm sorry about the lack of sewing mojo you're feeling - sometimes you just have to go with it and do other things. (That's usually when I start something new, lol! Not always a good idea!)
ReplyDeleteThe dark navy sounds like a great sashing and I think it's smart to add a few more blocks to increase the quilt size a bit.
ReplyDeleteWow, they look so pretty all together, I hope that the bad weather will not keep you away from the sewing room, and that your sewing mojo will fully come back. Thank you for sharing your lovely blocks and linking up. You made me want to make some glowing hearts too ;)
ReplyDeleteThe hearts are so pretty. I sometimes lose my mojo when I’m working on something I’m not enjoying. Switching to a different project usually fixes it.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the navy sashing, I really love your fabrics!
ReplyDeleteYour hearts are so pretty in those colors. I totally missed this sew along, but have enjoyed seeing the ones popping up in my feed. I am dealing with a little loss of sewing or posting these days, too. Hope you find yours soon!
ReplyDeleteWe have the threat of storms/tornadoes this afternoon/evening. Ugh. I just really adore your Glowing Hearts. The colorscape you've used just makes it sing! Is the block hard to make? I'll purchase the pattern for it if it's not too crazy complicated! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on your hearts. Our “spring weather” has been terrible the past couple of weeks with fresh snow up on the mountain ridges all around us.
