Weekend Stitching - Log Cabins and Stars

Sunday was a pretty productive day here.  After spending some time catching up with laundry and a bit of house work in the morning, the afternoon and evening were devoted to spending time in the sewing room.

The binding is almost all sewn down on Grand Illusion, just about half a side left. All that will be left is to finish stitching down the label, then I'll have a finish.

All 12 stars for the last round of borders for Back to Square One are finally finished.

The next step was to stitch together all the log cabin blocks into sets of two.

That is done.  Star blocks have been pinned to the log cabin pairs.  They are piled up by the sewing machine waiting to be stitched.

I need to make the binding for Layer Cake quilt.  I also need to make a label which means I need a name for the quilt.  So that's something to ponder this week.

Howdy, Kate! I love your header picture! :) When I look at the first quilt, what really stands out to me is the paisley. Maybe Paisley Power? :)
