15 Minute Challenge - May 10th

It's been one of those weeks.  You know the kind where your good intentions and the realities of life collide?   Kiddo had an out of town swim meet this weekend, so we weren't home.  Add in that it was Mother's Day and we spent the time she wasn't swimming visiting with family, I just never had the chance to pull out the hand work that made the trip with me.   I managed at least 15 minutes on 4 out of the last 7 days.  So not a complete wash, but not my best effort either.

School is winding down, just 2 more weeks.  So we should be done with a lot of the week night stuff for the summer.  That will translate into more time in the evenings to blog and sew (unfortunately yard work will probably have to fit in there too).

I did finally make up with a button for the 15 Minute Challenge  and a code box.  If you haven't noticed it, it's at the top of the left of the page.

I've heard from a few folks that this last week was as bad for them as it was for me.  Well, I guess they can't all be good.  Here's Mr. Linky, write up the good, the bad, the ugly and link up.

It is great that you can get any sewing done this time of year. The last month of school is always so hectic for parents.

After my very slack week (all I really did was buy fabric ) I think yours looks pretty good.

Im going to try better next week. Im just so tired at the moment. Do you think I have the winter blues?

Sorry you didn't get as much done as you would've liked. Did you have days where you sewed for more than 15 minutes, so you could 'carry them over' to one of your non-sewing days?
It happens sometimes. I work at home with my sewing machine, but it doesn't mean I always get to do work for myself... sometimes you're done working and everything else gets in the way. I'm sure your summer is going to be much more productive!

Oh well maybe it helps to know that I got 0/7 done..just a little knitting which was less than 10 minutes..it was a bad week.

There's always this week .. sounds like the Castle quilt is coming along. Sorry to hear about the needed re-design -- things like that can really slow you down. Hopefully, both you and kiddo enjoyed the swim meet. Love the button .. I'll have to figure out how to get it on my blog.

I with shay on the tired stuff must be winter blues lol, it is wild and woolley today. Have the day home which is unusual for a Wednesday, but I am waiting on a trady so will do a bit of housework then head up to the quilt shop to check out backings for my quilt. Tonight is meeting up with the quilt girls usually it is just a talk fest but I think I will sew tonight.
